About SkiAtlas

SkiAtlas is a free, independent tool built to help skiers and riders make smarter decisions about season passes, resort selection, and trip planning. Whether you're a weekend warrior at your local hill or planning a cross-country road trip, SkiAtlas puts the information you need in one place.

We believe choosing a ski pass shouldn't require a spreadsheet. Our Pass Explorer lets you compare programs side by side, and our recommendation engine factors in your home resorts, travel plans, family needs, and budget to suggest the best fit.

Beyond passes, SkiAtlas offers an interactive resort atlas with 700+ resorts worldwide, real-time weather tracking, trip logging with photos and stats, and a community discussion board to swap beta with fellow skiers.

    Our Data

SkiAtlas aggregates publicly available data from resort websites, pass program pages, and weather services. We do our best to keep pricing, resort access lists, and blackout date information accurate and up to date, but this data changes frequently.

Always verify with the official source. Pass prices, included resorts, blackout calendars, and eligibility requirements can change at any time. SkiAtlas is a research tool—not a substitute for checking the pass provider's website before you buy.

Weather data, including recent snowfall, forecasts, and season totals, is sourced from third-party APIs and cached periodically. Conditions on the mountain can differ from reported data, so check your resort's official snow report before heading out.

If you spot incorrect or outdated information, we'd love to hear about it. Reach out through the discussion board and we'll get it fixed.
